My beautiful and very cultured city of Glasgow has been given a new and unwanted award THE KNIFE CRIME CAPITAL OF SCOTLAND.
You cannot say boo to a ned now without the risk of being {chibbed}stabbed the blades range from potato peelers,to machetes and even swords,Knives are feely available from outdoor shops and army surplus stores.

But before you start condeming my country after can you say the USA is crime free,we should look at why these young people feel the need to be armed in the 1st place,its depressing and frustrating to see so much potential going to waste.
Poverty .Glasgow may be booming trade wise but social problems and deprevation are constantly being ignored
Drugs.addiction + need = desperation
Fear.a violent upbringing surrounded by knives ect + a need oor more likely pressure to fit in with your pals = a generation dependent on weapons to feel safe.
They should all wear kilts eh that's what I think.

Well, when you think about it, its like that in a lot of countries. For example, Jamacia. They have the highest crime rate in the world, although I think they use gun violence more than knife violence. Still, that sucks that your city (or did you say the whole country?) is getting a bad reputation just cuz most idiots feel they have to buy knives and stab each other. Its horrible how certain parts of the world are so full of crime. This whole world is falling apart. Whenever i hear something like this i wonder how much farther down our world can possibly go.
Niblet its been this way for decades in glasgow because the issues behind the knife culture have been swept aside in favour of commerce trade and the wealthy.
Glasgow city council's attitude is simply this those without can go without,so the problem escalates until it becomes impossible to control or solve.
